How long does a FENSA certificate last?

A FENSA certificate usually lasts as long as the products do. Certification also serves as evidence that the installation is covered by an insurance-backed guarantee of up to 10 years in length.

After the replacement project is complete, you should receive your FENSA certificate around two weeks afterward.

When is a FENSA certificate not necessary?

FENSA only deals with replacement windows, doors and roof lanterns. It does not apply to products being installed for the first time for projects such as:

• Orangeries
• Sheds
• Caravans
• Mobile homes
